Marina Gaglias (MAG)
Syndicate Manager, Americas
Marina is a Syndicate Manager at the UK P&I Club, with responsibility for overseeing the Americas claims team and handling claims matters for the region, with a focus on all types of pollution matters.
She joined the Club in 2015. Prior to that, she practiced maritime law, served in the U.S. Coast Guard Reserve as a marine inspector, worked in operations for a chemical tanker company, and worked for the classification society, American Bureau of Shipping.
Marina is experienced in investigating and litigating all types of pollution matters and dealing with state and federal environmental regulations.
She is a maritime attorney and a graduate of the Massachusetts Maritime Academy, where she obtained a U.S. Coast Guard Unlimited Tonnage deck officer’s license.
Marina is also the point of contact of the Contract Review team for the U.S. VRPs and OSROs contracts, and a Syndicate Manager for the UK Defence Club.
