Annual General Meeting update

The Annual General Meeting of the Club was held in Tokyo on Monday 6th November 2023.

The Report and Accounts as audited and certified for the period ended 20th February 2023 were approved and adopted.

BDO LLP of London were reappointed as auditors of the Club.

The retiring Directors who offered themselves for re election to the Members ’ Committee were all re elected. In addition, the following were also elected to the Members’ Committee:

Mr R. Aird, Pritchard-Gordon Tankers Ltd., UK.

Mr B. Chiu, BW Group Limited, Singapore. 

Ms A. Kalathakis, Navios Maritime Partners L.P., Greece.

Mr F. Mascarenhas, Petrobras Transporte S.A. - Transpetro, Brazil. 

At the close of the meeting, Mr N. Inglessis retired, having completed his 5 year tenure as Chair of the Club. 

Mr J. Valkier was elected as the new Chair of the Club, at a meeting of the Members' Committee immediately following the AGM.
