TB15 - Weatherdeck Hatch Covers
01/02/2005
We would like to bring to the attention of Members a circular we have received from the Republic of the Marshall Islands:
The Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore has recently issued a new circular (Port Marine Circular No 25 of 2004) relating to the limits of dangerous goods allowed on board vessels berthing at its quays.
Once a stowaway is found on board any ship the Club recommends that the Member reports the discovery to the Club as soon as possible. This will allow a plan of action to be agreed and a local P&I correspondent to be appointed to assist as appropriate.
